Values-in Action (VIA)

In 2012, MOE reframed Community Involvement Programme (CIP) as 'Values in Action' (VIA) to give greater focus to pupils acquiring values. VIA are learning experiences that support pupils' development as socially responsible citizens who contribute meaningfully to the community, through the learning and application of values, knowledge and skills. The school has identified VIA platforms initiated by the level, school, CCA and student leaders.

For example, for P1, we have the 'Care for Self and Family' which pupils are given task cards to develop responsibilities at home. It is a platform for them to understand the importance of being caring at home, think back and learn from experiences. Parents are strongly encouraged to supervise their child in completing the tasks. Here are some information pertaining to VIA in TKPS.
